Manage Jiofi The 8 Essential Parts of a Proper KPI Methodology

There are many different approaches people take to develop KPIs and performance measures. Does yours have all the parts it needs? We have methodologies for so many things in management and business:

for strategy design, like the Balanced Scorecard

for business improvement, like Lean Six Sigma

for project management, like Prince2

Think about the methodologies you use for risk management, product development, policy formulation, training design, recruitment, and whatever else.We have those methodologies because they make doing these things easier, faster, and more likely to work. But so few organisations have a true methodology for KPIs (performance measurement or PM).There are a set of features that methods of a proper KPI methodology or PM methodology have: they are comprehensive, non-prescriptive, necessary, founded, proven, practical, useful and transparent. The features of ‘comprehensive’ and ‘necessary’ are what we’ll zoom in on now.

‘Comprehensive’ means that collectively, all the parts in the KPI methodology assist each step or stage in KPI development, from selection, through implementation, to use.

‘Necessary’ means that each part in the PM methodology is chosen and designed to replace poor PM practices that don’t work and eradicate or ease known struggles or challenges with KPIs.

Together, comprehensive and necessary mean this:Only the parts that are needed are in the PM methodology, and the PM methodology has all the parts that are needed. From 20 years or so of global and cross-sector research that’s produced over 13,000 data points, I’m convinced about what the top struggles are that people have with performance measurement. No data or experience has ever contradicted this, from the hundreds of organisations I’ve worked with. These biggest struggles are:

People don’t understand the true purpose of performance measurement.

Goals are too intangible or difficult to measure.

Measures and KPIs are not meaningful and not aligned to strategy.

People don’t want to be involved, they won’t buy in to measuring performance.

Measures are inconsistent, data is not available or not reliable, and too much time is wasted implementing measures.

People can’t agree on what a measure is saying, or whether it’s at target or not.

Performance reports are hard to navigate, don’t have useful information, and often not used in decision making.

Performance doesn’t really improve, or not enough relative to the cost of change initiatives and improvement effort.

If you have a PM methodology that does not have a framework or technique or step that deliberately deals with each and every one of these eight struggles, you don’t have a proper PM methodology.

Performance measurement shouldn’t be a struggle. It should feel easy, relatively quick, meaningful and engaging. It should generate ownership and excitement for improving performance and reaching targets that matter. It should create a high-performance culture. If your KPI methodology doesn’t deliberately fix the most common KPI struggles, it’s not a proper KPI methodology.DISCUSSION:How many of the 8 struggles does your KPI methodology directly fix?

The Invention of Man That Is Destroying the World

Money, finance, the economy, and the impending end of the world are all linked and the reason is obvious. Greed and wealth creation is first and foremost in the minds of most who see nothing wrong with destroying the environment and taking whatever they can from others. Their goal is hoarding as much as they can while showing the rest of the world how great they are. What they don’t know is how poor they are.

Following my reincarnation and with a strong link to the Spirit of the Universe it has led me to see the big picture. At a time shown to me between lives it called to take me away from the world and teach me what life is about.

It’s a simple story but one that would be above the heads of most who try to understand it in the light of religious teachings and the greed that has impacted the earth. This is our only planet on which we can live and yet man is destroying it at a great rate of knots to make money and stick it in the bank or some investment portfolio.

Can they in all honesty believe that this is the purpose of their lives. Yet it would seem that it is exactly what they were put here to do.

My first commission is to tear down the wall of blindness and recover God’s people who are caught up behind a wall of lies and confusion. In fulfilling that goal it was important to understand how and why things have developed to this point. We are on the brink of destruction and the earth and all life on it is at risk.

That wall is built by man’s imagination and false gods that have been created to explain life and death. In their efforts to be powerful men devised heaven and hell and used them as tools to rope others in to their opinions and dreams. If they could convince others of their own convictions, then for them they became true.

That’s why religions are now so powerful and rich. The leaders know nothing of the Spirit and they push money ahead of common sense. Through trade and then domination of nations riches became more important than life itself and all one needs do is look at how many suicide when they face financial ruin.

Money is nothing! It has no place in the function of the world except that the Spirit is using it to bring life to an end. Those hungry enough to be caught in its web are overseeing the disaster. That’s according to the prophecies in the Old Testament that promise this day would come.
